The protection of property data and personal privacy is the core of AuditStay. This policy outlines how Philipp Schuler ("we", "us", or "Provider") processes information in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR.
General Overview
This Privacy Policy outlines how Philipp Schuler ("Provider") processes data in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP) and, where applicable, the GDPR. For the purpose of the visual auditing services, the Client (property manager) acts as the Data Controller, and the Provider acts as the Data Processor.
Privacy by Design
The service processes visual images of property interiors uploaded by the Client's staff. To enforce data minimization:
- Client-Side Blurring: MediaPipe WebAssembly algorithms blur faces and documents locally directly within the user's browser. Unredacted data never touches the internet or our servers.
- 120-Day Rule: Data is irrevocably deleted 120 days after upload.
- No AI Training: Images are never used to train proprietary AI models.
Data Collection
Sub-Processors
To provide the service, the Provider utilizes established sub-processors. Data may be transferred to jurisdictions outside of Switzerland (e.g., the United States). Protection is guaranteed through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
As the Data Controller, the Client is legally responsible for ensuring they possess the necessary legal basis (e.g., legitimate interest, employment contracts, or guest consent) to capture and process images of their properties and staff via the Provider’s platform.
